3.Offer small soft  feeds as baby is still not used to having different variety of food. New food in big amounts result in constipation in most babies.Don’t panic. However offer enough fluids .

4.You can substitute vegetable soup with clear chicken soup or chicken pulao if you want to offer non-vegetarian food to your baby.Fish fillets properly cleaned and cooked , can be offered too.

5.Offer a variety of foods to your baby to develop taste.

6.Your baby will gain weight gradually. So don’t worry if your baby doesn’t look as ‘chubby’ or ‘fat’ as other babies. If your baby is active and doesn’t fall ill often, then your baby is doing fine.If your are worried, consult your doctor to check whether you are giving the right diet to your baby.
